MILWAUKEE TEENS ASKED TO TAKE SEX QUIZ AS ROSALIE MANOR OBSERVES NATIONAL TEEN PREGNANCY PREVENTION MONTH

MILWAUKEE, WIS. MAY 6, 2008 -- Each May, Rosalie Manor Community & Family Services, along with many groups all over the country, observe National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month. This year, Rosalie Manor is holding its 22nd annual National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy Rally on May 16, 2008. On this day, Milwaukee’s teens will be asked to stop, think about their options and take action.

To help teens understand the risks of sex before marriage, Rosalie Manor has launched an online Teen Sex Quiz at www.ACryingShame.info. When taking this online interactive quiz, teens will answer questions based on risky real-life scenarios they deal with every day. The quiz is inspired by questions and concerns from Milwaukee teens participating in Rosalie Manor programs. Quiz takers will receive their “report card” and the correct answers to the teen sex-related questions.

With “hip hop” music playing in the background, the Quiz also features several celebrity photos and statements about their commitment to abstinence before marriage. “The kids who take the quiz are surprised at their end results,” admits Dawn Groshek, Director of Development, Rosalie Manor. “There are tricky questions that have truly surprising answers for teens and their parents too. Whether they have had sex or not, we hope that this experience will help teens think twice before having pre-marital sex.”
